Kandis and I are elated and grateful for the outpouring of love and support from family, friends and colleagues. In a lifetime, I could never thank everyone enough for the words of encouragement, the phone calls, text messages and photographs capturing the events of this past week. I’m a true testament to the belief that happiness comes when you step outside of fear and pursue the one thing that scares you to death. Today I stand on the other side of fear as the 2019 International Auctioneer Champion. It’s an absolute dream come true! The National Auctioneers Association has impacted my life in such a great way. My passion, goals, hopes and dreams come from this organization. As I said in New Orleans, “My parents made me, but the NAA formed me.” I look forward to serving this organization over the next year, and throughout the duration of my career. Winning is great, but it doesn’t outweigh the relationships you build along the way. It was a pleasure spending the week with the NAA staff and family. I would like to congratulate all of the contestants, and especially this year’s Women’s IAC Champion, Morgan Hopson, and this year’s International Junior Auctioneer Champion, Tyce Freije!
Thank you for pouring out your love and support this week! The best is yet to come.
